Employer Assistance and Resource Network on Disability Inclusion

EARN, or the Employer Assistance and Resource Network on Disability Inclusion assists employers with recruiting, hiring, retaining, and advancing people with disabilities in the workplace. Resources include strategies for disability inclusion, a mental health toolkit, and facts about neurodiversity in the workforce. 

Workforce GPS

An initiative of the United States Department of Labor, Workforce GPS provides a multitude of resources for building a more inclusive workforce. Includes online trainings for serving people with disabilities, building and working across partnerships, and providing inclusive business services.  

Jobs and Education for People with Disabilities

From USA.gov, this page provides job search advice, information about the Social Security Administration's Ticket to Work Program, job postings for people who are blind, and advice on finding and applying for federal jobs. 

National Council of State Legislatures

The Work Matters Report outlines policy options to enhance employment opportunities for people with disabilities. This webpage also provides advice on disability etiquette.  

Disability Discrimination

The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission provides information about disability discrimination and fact sheets on legislation protecting the workplace rights of people with disabilities. The EEOC also explains the employment rights of people with disabilities

The Job Accommodation Network

The Job Accommodation Network: Provides comprehensive, free one-on-one practical guidance and technical assistance on job accommodation solutions and disability employment issues. Users can read or listen to the information. 

Career One Stop

Career One Stop (via U.S. Department of Labor): This site provides comprehensive information on planning a job search, interviewing and negotiating, and resumes and applications; also features a job bank that can be searched by state. 

AUCD National Center on Disability in Public Health

The AUCD's Emergency Preparedness Resources include technical assistance on disability inclusion, COVID-19 vaccine access, and guidance on inclusive emergency planning. 

An ADA Guide for Local Governments

This publication from ADA.gov has detailed guidance for local emergency personnel who interact with people with disabilities. 

National Library Service for the Blind and Print Disabled

Part of the Library of Congress, the NLS provides emergency preparedness guidance for people who are blind or have now vision.
